Hey Cupcake Review
In search of dessert, we thought of Hey Cupcake on South Congress and decided to check it out. We got there late, so unfortunately they had sold out of the two cupcakes I wanted to try: The Michael Jackson and the 24 Carrot. The Michael Jackson is a chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting and the 24 Carrot is a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting. So, we decided to go with the Double Dose (chocolate with chocolate butter cream frosting) and the Vanilla Dream (vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream frosting).
It was a nice night, so we decided to eat there. Both of the cupcakes were very good and surprisingly larger than I thought they’d be. If you love frosting, you’ll really love these cupcakes. And by the steady line the entire time we were there, most of Austin loves these cupcakes!
Insider Tip: Bring a plastic fork and small plastic plate – especially if you’re on a date.
